Journalist
Kathryn Knight
After graduating from Oxford with a degree in English Literature,
I started my career as a news trainee on The Times newspaper before moving to the Express as a columnist and feature writer.
Following a four-year stint as feature writer at The Daily Mail and
Mail on Sunday I then went freelance, writing across national newspapers and magazines such as Red, The Radio Times and Saga.
I’m an accomplished interviewer and ghost writer of both celebrity and real-life case studies, as well as covering everything from lifestyle trends to hard-hitting news investigations.
EDITORIAL
I've interviewed people from all walks of life, from the rich and famous to those who aren't in the public eye but have a powerful,
emotive story to tell. Here are some recent samples from my broad portfolio:
BOOKS
In 2010 I interviewed a woman called Chrissy Handy following her successful battle to bring to court the lover who had defrauded her of half a million pounds. I was struck by her courage and the enormous complexity of her story, of which fraud was only one part.

We both agreed that when the time was right it would be great to tell her story in book form, and a decade later we collaborated on ‘Seduced by a Sociopath’, published by Harper Collins in the summer of 2022.

Thanks to Chrissy’s courage and openness, you can now read her astonishing story for the first time.
